Terracina Canal 1944
Here we see the Terracina Canal, which runs close to the west coast of Italy at a key point for the US troops advancing from the Cassino front towards Anzio after the Allied break through during the Fourth Battle of Cassino. Note the boats that have been sunk by Allied air attacks.
