Tachikawa Ki-9 'Spruce' from the front
Here we see the Tachikawa Ki-9 'Spruce', an intermediate training aircraft produced for the Japanese Army. This is an early version which had a small fairing above the wheel and a more complex undercarriage than the main production versions.
