RAF Supply Drop south of the Irrawaddy
Here we see an RAF Dakota dropping supplies to the 14th Army south of the Irrawaddy during the reconquest of Burma. The 14th army became increasingly air minded as the war went on, and as a result was able to advance much faster than if it had relied entirely on ground supply lines.
