Spitfire Mk.22 from the left
This view of Spitfire F Mk 22 PK312 shows us the bubble canopy and cut down rear fuselage that distinguished the Mk.22 from the Mk.21. This is an early aircraft, lacking the larger tail structure used on most Mk.22s.
