Samidare from right
Here we see the Shiratsuyu class destroyer Samidare from the right. This class of destroyers was armed with five 5in guns, two in a single twin turret at the bow and an unusual arrangement of one twin and one single gun turret at the rear, facing in opposite directions. The rear turrets can be seen here, with white-clad crewmen on both sides.
