Edward, Prince of Wales, in 1914
Here we see Edward, Prince of Wales (the future Edward VIII) out in civilian cloths in 1914, with cheering crowds behind. He served in the Grenadier Guards during the First World War, but wasn't allowed to fight in the front lines.
