Machine Gunners of the Polish Underground Army
Here we see a group of soldiers from the Polish Underground Army receiving training in how to use a machine gun. At this stage the army was gathering its strength in the forests of Poland, ready to take part in the liberation of their country. Tragically they would end up being deliberately betrayed by Stalin and left to suffer during the Warsaw uprising.
