Here we see the cover of The Plane Wrangler, the equivalent of a 'year book' that was given to all of the pilot cadets after they completed the Primary Pilot Course at Stamford Flying School, Texas. It was filled with a mix of photos of the staff at Stamford, all of the pilots, and a mix of light hearted material relating to their time on the course. This copy was issued to John Dobler, who went on to pilot the B-24 in the Mediterranean Theatre.
