Plans of Roon Class Armoured Cruisers
These plans show the Roon class armoured cruisers of 1905-06, which carried four 210mm (8.2in) and ten 150mm (5.9in) guns. The 8.2in guns were carried in twin turrets fore and aft, the 5.9in guns in two levels of casemates amidships. As was often the case, the lower level, which carried six of the guns, was prone to flooding in heavy seas.
