Plans of Asama Class Armoured Cruiser
These plans show the Asama class armoured cruisers, designed by Sir Philip Watt, and were improved version of the O'Higgins, produced for Chile. All were built by Armstrong at Elswick. The Asama class ships carried four 8in guns in twin turrets and fourteen 6in guns in a mix of turrets and casemates on two levels. Four on each side were on the same level as the main guns and three one level below.
