US Plan of 1939 Type Torpedo Boat (Germany)
This plan from a US Recognition magazine of 1944 shows a 1939 Type Torpedo Boat, part of a larger group known to the Allies as the Elbing type as many of them were built by the Schichau Shipyard at Elbing. The 1939 Type was larger than the earlier classes, and were the equivilent of Allied Destroyer Escorts.
