US Plan of 1935 Type Torpedo Boat (Germany)
This plan from a US Recognition magazine of 1944 shows T-1, the first 1935 type torpedo boat, laid down in 1937 and completed in 1939-40. These boats were shorter than the earlier 1923 Type and 1924 Type, which resembled small destroyers, but the 1935 Type was also a flexible design capable of being used as escorts, sub-chasers and minelayers.
