Pfalz D.III from above

This view of the Pfalz D.III fighter from above shows the different sizes of the wings, with the lower wing similiar in shape but smaller than the upper wing. The tail also used a similar angular shape. Note the radiator built into the upper wing. This is a standard D.III - the D.IIIa had a curved tail.
