Here we see the only Soviet four engined bomber of the Second World War, the Petlyakov Pe-8, from below. The Pe-8 had a massive wingspan of 128ft, far bigger than the Avro Lancaster or Boeing B-17, and could carry a decent payload, but compared to its Allied equivalents only a handful were built - 93 Pe-8s compared to the vast fleets of Allied heavy bombers.
