King Peter I of Serbia, r.1903-1921
King Peter I of Serbia came to the throne after his predecessor, Alexander I, was murdered during a military coup. He turned out to be a western looking democratic monarch, and won great respect for this actions when Serbia was invaded successfully in 1915.
