Here we see a Panzer IV ausf C with all five crew members visible. The commander is at the top of the picture. To his right (our left) the loader is hanging out of a side hatch in the turret, while to his left is the gunner. Below the turret we see the radio operator (our left) and the driver (our right), both with their own hatches.
The ausf B and ausf C both had a flat front to the superstructure. The ausf C introduced a new gun mantlet, and the curved shadow from this can just be seen between the radio operator and the 75mm gun to his right.
