Panther I ausf A in Normandy
Here we see Allied troups examining an knocked out Panther I ausf A during the fighting in Normandy. This is an early production ausf A and can be identified by the combination of the new commander's cupola on the turret and the lack of a ball mount for the hull machine gun.
