Panzer V Panther Ausf G in Cologne

This Panther Ausf A has been abandoned in front of Cologne Cathedral during the German retreat.

This author originally incorrectly identified this tank as an Ausf G, taking the straight edge to the side of the hull as his guide. Many thanks to Walter White for pointing out the presence of the vision hatch at the far right of the picture, suggesting that this should be an Ausf A. Close examination of the original picture reveals some traces of the 'kink' at the rear of the tank, confirming that identification.
