Admiral Ozawa being transferred from Zuikaku to Oyodo
Here we see Admiral Ozawa being transferred from the doomed carrier Zuikaku to the light cruiser Oyodo, already equipped to serve as a flagship (Battle of Leyte Gulf). The Zuikaku had been hit by several American torpedoes at the Battle of Cape Engano (25 October 1944) and sank at 2.07pm.
