Burning Nagara Class Cruiser
Here we see a Nagara class light cruiser on fire, some time before November 1944 when this picture was published in the US Recognition magazine. By the time the picture was published, five of the six Nagara class cruisers had been sunk, and only the Isuza remained. She was finally sunk in April 1945.
