Murree Hills around Lower Topa (4 of 4)

The Murree Hills was one of the summer homes of the British army in India. This wartime view shows almost no signs of human activity, although other pictures in the same sequence show cultivation terraces.

Many thanks to Ken Creed for sending us these pictures, which were taken by his wife's uncle Terry Ruff during his time with No.357 Squadron, a special operations unit that operated over Burma, Malaya and Sumatra.
