From left to right: Muldownie, Newton, Ramsay

The exact location of this picture isn't stated, but the town of Medicine Hat, Alberta, fits the bill. Brooks, Bassano, Calgary and Banff are all towns further west along the railway, and the distances are correct (Banff, Scotland was something of a red herring here).
