Mosquito FB Mk.XVIII from the front
Here we see a Mosquito FB Mk.XVIII from the front, with the barrel of its 57mm Molins anti-shipping gun just visible below the wing. The aim was to use the big gun against U-boats that had decided to fight it out on the surface, and did achieve some successes.
