Mersa Matruh from the Air
Here we see the harbour of Mersa Matruh from the air, probably during the Allied advance in the aftermath of the second battle of El Alamein. The impact of Allied air attacks can be seen in the sunken merchant vessels just off-shore (North African Campaign).
