Fighting Compartment, Mark IX Tank

Here we see the fighting compartment of a Mark IX Tank, an early armoured personnel carrier which had sixteen loopholes along the sides to allow the troops within to shoot out of the vehicle. The Mark IX was entering production at the end of the First World War.
