Here we see an M3 Stuart light tank, probably of the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars when they were part of 4th Armoured Brigade within the famous 7th Armoured Division, the 'Desert Rats'. This picture was taken during exercises with the new tank, probably in the second half of 1941, before they were committed to battle during Operation Crusader.
