Lancaster Raid on German Railways, 1945
According to the wartime caption this picture shows six Lancaster bombers during an attack on a Germany railway centre in the spring of 1945. As the Luftwaffe faded away, the RAF was able to return to daylight raids. Two of the aircraft are very visible above the clouds. Two more are towards the top of the picture, while the final two are in the bottom left.
