Kuban Cossack Guardsman charging, Ukraine, 1944
Here we see a force of Kuban Cossacks, probably from the 4th Guards Cavalry Corps, charging during the battles in the Ukraine in 1944. This unit was highly regarded, and took part in the victory parade in Moscow in 1945.
