Konigsberg and Leipzig, 1934
Here we see the German cruisers Konigsberg and Leipzig during the first goodwill visit to Britain by German warships since the First World War. Konigsberg is in the foreground firing a salute with a British flag at her fore peak and Leipzig is in the centre. In the background is a British C class cruiser.
