US Jeeps fording the Moselle
Here we see a group of American infantrymen wading across the Moselle while jeeps pass them carrying wounded Germans and Americans back for medical treatment in the rear areas. These men were probably from the US 7th Army, which had advanced from the south of France to the Moselle region after the success of Operation Dragoon.
