Humber Armoured Car Patrol, Libya

Here we see a force of Humber armoured cars about to go on patrol behind enemy lines in Libya. Note the amount of extra kit carried outside the vehicles. The two vehicles on the left are probably the Mk.II, often shown with similar hatches on the turret roofs. The vehicle on the right might be a Mk.III, which had a wider turret. The two types were used alongside each other in North Africa.
