Honourable Artillery Company, London, c.1914
Here we see an infantry battalion from the Honourable Artillery Company marching through London, probably in 1914. The Company was the oldest military organisation in the British Army, and was part of the Territorial Force at the start of the First World War. During the war it raised three infantry battalions and seven artillery batteries for service.
