HMS Warspite and Illustrious class carrier
Here we see the Queen Elizabeth class battleship HMS Warspite, one of the most powerful warships of the First World War, alongside an Illustrious class aircraft carrier, one of the most powerful types of the Second World War. Note the level of air activity around the carrier, which must be further behind the Warspite that first appears.
