Living space on HMS Voracious

Here we see the fore end living space on the V-class submarine HMS Voracious at dinner time, while she was moored at No.7 Wharf, Melbourne, 12 September 1945. This gives some idea of just how cramped the living quarters on these wartime submarines really were.
