HMS Viking from the right

Here we see the unusual Tribal class destroyer HMS Viking from an angle that shows her unusual bows, with a semi-turtleback arrangement as far back as the forward gun platform, which then gets a neat curved edge. The Viking was also the only six funneled destroyer to serve with the Royal Navy. Palmer used a similar design on their modified 30-knotters Albacore and Bonetta, which had the same turtleback bow ended at a curved platform, and a similar arrangement of funnels (although with four instead of six).
