HMS Vega in 1943
Here we see the V class destroyer HMS Vega on 28 January 1943, after her conversion into a WAIR ship - an anti-aircraft destroyer. In this role her main guns were replaced with QF 4in L/45 Mark XVI guns, seen here on platforms fore and aft.
