HMS Unicorn from above
Here we see the support carrier HMS Unicorn, built from the start to be a floating aircraft maintenance workshop, capable of the full range of repairs on the Royal Navy's aircraft. She was given a full length flight deck so that aircraft could be flown on and off her, while un-flyable aircraft could be moved onboard by being lifted to the open rear end of the upper hanger.
