HMS Searcher at Sea
Here we see the Ruler class escort carrier HMS Searcher at sea, with seven of its load of Grumman fighters visible on deck. The Searcher was mainly used as a fighter carrier in British waters, although also took part in Operation Dragoon, and supported raids on the Norwegian coast.
