Fighter pilots of 881 Squadron, HMS Pursuer (2 of 2)

Here we see a group of fighter pilots from No.881 Squadron (Fleet Air Arm), who were serving onboard the escort carrier HMS Pursuer during an attack on German shipping off the coast of Norway on 26 April 1944. The raid was originally meant to have been an attack on the Tirpitz, but that had to be cancelled due to poor weather over the target.
