HMS Peyton and US Minelayer in North Sea

Here we see the modified M class destroyer HMS Peyton (front) and a US Navy minelayer (rear) in rough weather somewhere in the North Sea, possibly during the laying of the great North Sea Mine Barrage that was laid in an attempt to stop German U-boats travelling north out of the North Sea into the Atlantic.
