Here we see the River class destroyer HMS Ouse from the right, possibly off Dover, with the cliffs and waterfront just visible in the background. From this angle we can see how the gun platform was seperate from the bridge, which was above and behind it, a big improvement over the 30 knotters where the bridge and forward gun had shared a platform.
