HMS Oracle laying smoke screen
Here we see the Admiralty M-Class destroyer HMS Oracle creating a smoke screen. The Oracle was part of the 3rd War Programme, and had a short career, being completed in 1916 and sold to be broken up in 1921. Despite the smoke her small bridge and three funnels can be seen here.
