HMS Nubian on the rocks
Here we see the Tribal class destroyer HMS Nubian on the rocks below the South Foreland, after her bows were blown off by a German torpedo. Despite the heavy damage seen here, this section of the ship was later merged with the bows of the equally damaged HMS Zulu to produce a new Tribal class ship, HMS Zubian
