HMS Nubian (F36) from the left
This picture shows the second Tribal class destroyer HMS Nubian (F36) moving at some speed. From this angle we can see the forward turrets, each armed with two 4.7in guns, the two funnels and the small tripod masts. The Nubian was one of the few Tribal class destroyers to survive the Second World War. This picture was taken before her pennant number was changed to G36 in 1940.
