HMS Nelson from the right
Here we see the British battleship HMS Nelson from the right, showing her unusual layout with all three main turrets mounted forward and the superstructure in the rear half of the ship. This was done in order to keep her within the weight limits imposed by the Washington naval conference while still allowing her to carry a suitable weight of guns.
