HMS Lynx from the right
Here we see the Acasta class destroyer HMS Lynx of 1913, showing her forward quick firing 4in gun. From this angle part of the gun's recuperator can be seen above the barrel. Also note the open bridge common to all British destroyers of the period, protected by a simple cover.
