This view of the A-class destroyer HMS Fervent shows her with the flimsy screens installed, around the bridge and forward gun position, and also just behind the break at the end of the turtleback bows. Part of the conning tower below the bridge platform can also be seen, as can a short ladder dropped from the platform to the bows.
