Here we see a group officers on the D class destroyer HMS Fame in 1900. The group includes her commander, the future Admiral Roger J B Keyes, Lt Wilfred Tomkinson, Gunner George Mascull RN of HMS Barfleur and Sub-Lieutenant Arthur T Blackwood lent from the Fame to HMS Janus. In 1900 Keyes made his name during the battle of the Taku Forts, helping to capture both the forts and four Chinese destroyers (Boxer Rebellion).
