Here we see the plans of the B-class destroyer HMS Express, giving a very clear idea of her internal and external layout. The top plan shows the location of her four funnels and their associated boilers, with the engines located between the boiler rooms. The middle plan shows the location of her guns - two on platforms, two either side of the bridge and two staggered amidships, and her torpedo tubes.
