HMS Exe from the left
This pictures shows the River class destroyer HMS Exe from the left, and shows her in the original River class configuration, with two guns carried in low mounted sponsons on either side of the bridge. The seperate bridge and main gun platforms can also be seen, a great improvement on the single platform of the earlier 30-knotters.
